I don’t see the VPN symbol on my child’s device anymore

When the unGlue Kids Apps are installed to devices, they can be monitored anywhere the devices are connected to the internet, whether through a home network or other WiFI networks and if the device is on cellular. So the Apps will monitor in the home or outside of the home as long as there is connectivity.

To check that the VPN is configured correctly, follow these steps:
  1. On the child's device, go to Settings and tap on General
  2. Tap on VPN and this should take you to the VPN Configurations screen:

  3. When looking down at the page, you should see the unGlue VPN certificate. Please click on the "i" in the circle.

  4. Once there, check to see that the Connect on Demand toggle is set to ON (green). If it is not, make sure to switch it to ON. 

If you wonder why the VPN was off, it is most likely because someone manually changed it...
