What is Entertainment Time?

Last Updated: Jun 15, 2018 12:10PM PDT

Entertainment Time is a daily time allowance you give each of your children to limit the amount of time they spend on social media, watching videos, and play games. This includes apps and websites like YouTube, Netflix, Instagram, Snapchat, Clash Royale, etc.

When your child has used up their allotted number of minutes, they are blocked from such distractions, but they can still access the internet for sites like Google,
do homework using Google Docs, Wikipedia, as well as use their web browser to access their school website. They will also be able to stream music from apps like Pandora and Spotify.

Your children will still have Internet access over cellular data and WiFi; unGlue will ONLY block them from accessing activities designated as Entertainment.

We continuously work on maintaining the list of apps and websites that are considered as Entertainment and add new apps and websites as they become popular. Here is a list of some of the Entertainment destinations. If your child is using an app or website that is not on the list, email us at
